The inspiration behind this model is the HRC (Honda Racing Corporation), which continues to generate excitement on the world’s biggest motorsport. The original design of this model, which was created under Honda supervision, features a red, white, and blue tricolor theme symbolizing the racing spirit.
Red represents “Passion for Victory,” white stands for “For All Motorsport Fans,” and blue symbolizes “Advanced Technology.”
These three symbolisms appear on the watch’s band loop. The tricolor theme is incorporated throughout the design, including markings on the carbon bezel, around the dial, next to the LCD, and on both sides of the band and its stitching. Alcantara band laser-marked with tracings of actual blueprints of old racing engine valve and connecting rod received from Honda. The HRC and Honda logos are also featured on the dial, band, and case back, embodying the Honda racing spirit.
The base model is the EDIFICE ECB-2000 SOSPENSIONE, which embraces a genuine motorsport concept. It features a carbon fiber reinforced resin case that is designed in the image of an automotive suspension arm, automatic time correction and simplified operation via Bluetooth® connection to a smartphone app, and Tough Solar power generation for a high level of reliability.
This collaboration model, developed through a partnership between HRC and CASIO at HRD Sakura, where Honda's racerelated technology development takes place, combines the strengths of both brands.
